📊 UAE Commits $1.4 Trillion to U.S. AI and Tech Sectors
From data centers to aluminum smelters, the UAE is making a generational bet on America’s industrial and technological future.
Following a meeting with President Donald Trump, the United Arab Emirates has pledged a 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment in the United States, targeting sectors like artificial intelligence, semiconductors, energy, and manufacturing.
The investment framework aims to "substantially increase the UAE's existing investments in the U.S. economy."
Emirates Global Aluminium plans to build the first new aluminum smelter in the U.S. in 35 years, potentially doubling domestic aluminum production.
ADQ, in partnership with Energy Capital Partners, announced a $25 billion initiative to invest in U.S. energy infrastructure and data centers.
ADNOC's international arm, XRG, will invest in the NextDecade liquefied natural gas export facility in Texas, supporting U.S. natural gas production and exports.
XRG aims to invest across the entire gas supply chain, from exploration to distribution, positioning itself as a comprehensive gas solutions provider.
ADNOC has launched XRG, an investment company focusing on lower-carbon energy and chemicals, valued at over $80 billion, with plans to more than double its asset value in the next decade
This substantial commitment by the UAE underscores a deepening economic partnership with the United States and reflects a strategic diversification of the UAE's investments into high-growth and sustainable sectors. The infusion of capital into U.S. industries is poised to stimulate job creation, advance technological innovation, and bolster energy infrastructure, marking a significant milestone in international investment dynamics.
